"Kei-unkai or Auspicious sea of clouds" is a blackish-tinted Edo Kiriko cold sake cup designed and cut by Tatsuya Nemoto, Master of Traditional Crafts.
The "Kei-unkai" pattern was created by Mr. Nemoto adding his unique arrangement to the traditional Edo Kiriko technique.
The wave pattern depicted on the glass is reminiscent of the sea of clouds, creating a noble and sublime atmosphere. The beautiful and meticulously finished glass is a hallmark of Mr. Nemoto, who values Japanese aesthetics.
